Hair Care | Understanding the Scalp

The people are speaking and understanding the scalp in hair care is back in session. Has the topic of hair care ever left? No. But on a wider scale, the slow, receding, and non developing of the scalp is the latest grasp for understanding.

In Hair Care what is the focus of the scalp?Hair,Follicle,Structure,Scalp

To begin with the Scalp is the skin on the top of your head where hair grows. In the hair care world it is known as the Epidermis, which is the outer layer of skin. The Sebaceous Gland is the opening into the hair follicles secreting an oily material which softens and lubricates the hair. Below sits the Bulb, of the hair, a rounded part of some plants that is under the ground(scalp). There sits the Papilla connective tissue extending into and nourishing the root of a hair. The focal point of the scalp, from my point of view, the Hair Follicle; the sheath that surrounds the lower part of the hair shaft, supplying the growing basal part of the hair with nourishment. And the connection between it all is the Dermis, the sensitive vascular inner mesodermic layer of the skin. That alone should sum up hair care and understanding the scalp but it doesn’t.

Why is understanding the Scalp important in hair care?

The scalp is essentially where the hair grows. Knowing that alone should be an eye opener to the curiosity of importance of gaining this information.

What outcome does improper or lack of Hair Care do to the scalp(dermis)?

Well, though many and most say that majority of hair care dysfunctions are hereditary in family. That our fathers, father weak hair follicle trait is so strong it was passed two generations down. That our mothers, mother epidermis was so unhealthy genetically that we now have that same trait. Okay, I can see that point of view and that is surely a possibility, but take a closer look to get a better understanding of the scalp in the hair care arena. To answer the question with a question, what happens to a malnourished infant? If rubbing alcohol is used as a hairs care for a month straight what is the logical outcome of it?

What effects does Hair Care play to the scalp?

Chemicals,Effects,Scalp,HairCare,FollicleFirst in understanding the effects one must know that majority of hair care is topical, meaning directly applied to the skin(scalp). Having that comprehension would bring attention to what ingredients within the hair care are being placed onto the head. The type of effects hair care produce within and on the scalp are in alignment with what reactions they create on and in the skin(dermis). Check the ingredients of the product and see if the result of placing it onto the scalp is harmful or beneficial. The fact is, much of what we place on our skin is absorbed into our bloodstream. Just think about nicotine and birth control patches. We administer effective doses through the skin to our bloodstream, enabling us to forgo a daily oral pill in lieu of a patch that prevents pregnancy.” That alone sums up the possible effects, I will leave that research for us to gain.

What remedies are there for restoring the scalp?

Though hereditary can play a big part in the outcome of the scalp, understand that regeneration and proper nourishment can restore the scalp. There are multiple products and remedies to bring forth possibility to the scalp, to bring hope into the scalp. Many scalp conditions that develop in age can be reversed if attacked in the allotted time during the breaking down of the hair follicle and with proper detoxification of the dermis.
